Book: “Elijah”
Author: Pricilla Shirer
Time: Tuesdays at 7:00pm EST
Group Leader: Sharol
Summary: Elijah demonstrates how the strength of faith, character, and boldness are first shaped in the hidden fires of silence, sameness, solitude, and adversity. Those who patiently wait on God in the darkness always emerge with their loyalty, courage, and belief in Him set afire. And the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life at this very moment. This study will build your faith and give you a sense of courage.

Summary: An invitation for every woman who feels she isn't godly enough... isn't loving enough... isn't doing enough. The life of a woman today isn't really all that different from that of Mary and Martha in the New Testament. Like Mary, you long to sit at the Lord's feet... but the daily demands of a busy world just won't leave you alone. Like Martha, you love Jesus and really want to serve him... yet you struggle with weariness, resentment, and feelings of inadequacy.
